Kamil Zacharski is Senior Director of Identity and Access Management Engineering and Application Support at Royal Bank of Canada. In this senior leadership role, Kamil leads and manages the technology research, planning, design, development and implementation of diverse and highly complex Identity & Access Management (IAM) systems used across RBC Enterprise. Kamil’s career spans over 20 years across a variety of industries with progressively senior leadership roles supporting technology and cybersecurity initiatives. Leveraging his comprehensive technical expertise and experience in software engineering and enterprise security architecture, Kamil has been able to deliver enterprise grade and scale initiatives at higher education, telecom, and financial services organizations. Kamil’s leadership of passion, engagement, and pragmatism has allowed him to lead teams to success on large and complex projects. Kamil is TOGAF 9 and (ISC)2 CISSP certified.
Kamil is also tremendously passionate about supporting communities and their needs. He has been actively engaged in leading and participating in large events. The most recent being the RBC Race for the Kids in Toronto focusing on providing assistance to families facing challenges with youth mental health. In his spare time, Kamil enjoys travelling to sunny ocean beaches, hiking, and staying fit. Kamil lives near Toronto with his wife, their 2 children, and 2 dogs.
