Wiesbaden, August 9, 2022 – IT analysts at KuppingerCole have identified three core elements of strong cybersecurity leadership. Working closely with global senior cybersecurity experts, the analyst team has determined that in addition to technical expertise, cyber leaders of future-proof organizations need to have domain leadership capacity and the ability to draw up resilient plans that support enterprise business objectives.
To help cyber leaders strengthen these core competencies, KuppingerCole is organizing the Cybersecurity Leadership Summit (CSLS), taking place in Berlin, Germany and online from 8-10 November.
“In the midst of economic uncertainty and political instability, IT professionals are perpetually confronted with new threats. Cybercriminals show innovation and determination, and cyber leaders need to master the appropriate skills to be up to the challenge and ensure the safety of the data and systems that are entrusted to them”, says Martin Kuppinger, Member of the Board.
The first day of the three-day conference will be dedicated to practical workshops covering business resilience, Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management, risk class models within access management, and more. These workshops will provide attendees with actionable steps for their own businesses.
The following two days of the event will be filled with exciting speakers from a variety of business spheres. CISOs and top experts from companies such as Allianz, Deutsche Bank, Siemens, Yahoo, Deutsche Börse and E.ON among others, will take to the stage to share their insights on leadership and cybersecurity trends. Respected members of public organizations such as the National Danish Cybersecurity Council and the German Parliament are also expected.
